  35. GO BACK TO ftp.microsoft.com !!! You got the WRONG TCP/IP!!
  36. The files you got from /Advsys/... are ancient garbage! Yes, they hog
  37. memory, NO they're not the 32-bit MS TCP/IP-32 (Daytona beta) which
  38. is designed to work with Windows for Workgroups 3.11. Once you get
  39. onto ftp.microsoft.com look in the directory:
  40.     /peropsys/WFW/tcpip/vxdbeta
  41. in there you'll find
  42.    mtcpb2.exe
  43. its a self extracting archive with all the distribution file.
  44. Then UNINSTALL that ol' dog before you do anything else
  45. - wipe out every last vestige of it! And install the new
  46. MS TCP/IP-32 via the Network Setup icon in WfWG 3.11
  47. via [Add Protocol...], "Unlisted or Update..." etc. etc.
